African Women’s Advocacy Position & Policy Recommendations to CSW62
In a bid to strengthen African women’s participation and contribution to the 62nd Session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW62), FEMNET and NGO CSW/Africa present the African Women’s Advocacy Position & Policy Recommendations to CSW62 – with key messages to be used to lobby governments prior to and during the CSW62.
The consensus recommendations were co-created during the Pre-CSW62 Regional Strategy Meeting held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from 19th – 20th February 2018, and which brought together national, sub-regional and regional representatives of women’s rights organizations, UN agencies and partners working and supporting the work of women’s rights organizations in East, West, North, South and Central Africa.
