The Beijing+25 Youth Task Force is part of UN Women’s effort to ensure meaningful involvement of young people in the global processes of the 25th review and appraisal of the Beijing Platform for Action.
NGO Parallel Reports
Partner with other like-minded women’s rights advocates and activists to develop your country’s NGO Parallel Reports using Guidelines/ report template developed by NGO CSW/NY . This will provide country-specific examples and some of the significant contributions that have been made by CSOs and women’s rights organizations in Africa. It will also outline actionable recommendations to African governments in order to accelerate the implementation of the BPfA in the next 5 years and translate the many commitments to the women of Africa into concrete actions.
Beijing+25 Online Books
NGO/CSW NY invites women’s rights advocates and activists to submit their Beijing Stories/ Expereinces which will be compiled into the Online Books: “My Memories and Messages for the Next Generation” (Book I) – for participants of the UN Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing and Book II, “My Issues, Hopes and Dreams” for young women to share their own stories, dreams and hopes. Stories/ contributions to be submitted to beijing25book@gmail.com.
