Beijing +30 refers to the 30-year review of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action adopted at the Fourth World Conference on Women in 1995. This review process assesses the progress made by countries in achieving the Declaration’s goals over the past 30 years. It examines the advancements and challenges in promoting gender equality and empowering women across various critical areas, including education, health, economic participation, political representation, and ending violence against women.<\/p>

The Beijing +30 Review involves regional and global consultations, where governments, civil society, and other stakeholders reflect on achievements, address emerging gender-related issues, and propose actions to close the remaining gaps.
