Dorothy Otieno

Dorothy is a Pan-African feminist who recognises the integral role played by women in the society and thus believe women empowerment, inclusion and leadership are engines for steering political, social and economic development. Dorothy holds a Bachelor degree in Communication and Public Relations and has ten years’ experience working in the social development field in areas of project management, policy advocacy, evidence-based programming and strategic communication on programs centering on gender equality, sexual and reproductive health rights, gender based violence prevention, health promotion, women socio-economic empowerment, leadership and mentorship and social (disability) inclusion. At FEMNET she coordinates women’s leadership programme that promotes gender equality and decent work.
