Ken is a holder of BA (Hons) Gender and Development, University of Nairobi. He has been with FEMNET since 2004 and his main role is to coordinate the scaling-up of the Men to Men programme to cover Uganda, Malawi, Mali, Tanzania, Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Since 2013, he has been working with religious and cultural leaders in Tharaka-nithi and Homabay counties in Kenya to enhance capacities and champion the ending of socio-cultural practices deeply-rooted in their communities such as female genital mutilation (FGM) and wife inheritance as a strategy to promote sexual and reproductive rights for women and girls. Ken is a digital photo enthusiast and enjoys music (be it composing, dancing and watching).
