FEMNET Welcomes Dorothy Kadzikano

FEMNET would like to welcome Dorothy Kadzikano, a Monitoring and Evaluation Expert from Zimbabwe. She joins as a fellow in the FEMNET and FK (Fredskorpset) Partnership, at the FEMNET Secretariat. She aims to add value to the organization’s national, regional and global work, with special focus on monitoring and evaluation as critical components of the organization’s accountability system and overall performance measurement.
Dorothy Kadzikano has a passion for people oriented development which respects the dignity and human rights of individuals. She believes that the knowledge of, enforcement of, respect for, practice of and promotion of human rights inherently ensures the holistic development of the individual, community and whole nations. She is a keen practitioner of human rights based approaches (RBA) to development programming, and is a trainer in RBA. Most of her work has involved working with children, the youth and women, which she enjoys.
Dorothy holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Bachelor of Social Work Degree and a Diploma in Social Work. She has also attended various training workshops and in-house training to continuously improve her capacity. A professional Social Worker with twenty years of combined and varied experience in Project/Program implementation, leadership, management, monitoring and evaluation, Dorothy has vast experience and we would like you to join us in welcoming her to the FEMNET family to continue to push the agenda for women’s rights on our continent!   You can reach Dorothy at (femembership@femnet.or.ke)
