The Africa We Want: Position Paper
African women and girls are calling for a transformative stand-alone goal to achieve gender equality, women’s rights and women’s empowerment that is grounded in human rights and tackles unequal power relations. In addition, we call for the integration of gender equality, women’s rights and women’s empowerment consistently across the entire framework through data collection disaggregated by sex and gender – sensitive targets and indicators.
