Feeling the Temperatures on Sexual and Reproductive Health & Rights
The controversies that cloud the sexual and reproductive health and rights discussions are deeply intertwined with various perspectives. One would be the reproductive rights debate that is multi dimensional. The debate on reproductive rights has been angled from religious, moral, public health and women’s rights perspectives. As a feminist I like to gravitate towards it from the understanding and affirmation that women’s rights include reproductive rights . The public health though compelling and driven by statistics should be complementary to the inherence of rights and should not at any time override the fact that women’s rights are human rights.
