African Women in Action at COP27
African women in all their diversities have been at the forefront of resistance to injustice. Their voices were finally echoed at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27) in Sham El Sheik in Egypt. The illustrious event took place from the 6th to 18th of November 2022 and the ensuing articles encompass and represent women’s experiences, needs, demands, and rights. The articles were crafted by feminist journalists from Burkina Faso, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal and South Africa. Their pieces evoke the feminist struggle of inclusion while unpacking the voices of African women in all their diversities.
