CSW67 Events-Not-To-Miss

From 6th – 17th March 2023, the 67th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW67), convenes in New York and virtually to discuss, negotiate, consolidate and endorse key recommendations as per the priority theme Innovation and technological change, and education in the digital age for achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls.
The following are sessions and conversations happening in-person in New York and virtually through Zoom – for you to stay connected/ engaged/ following/ contributing your expertise and experiences:-
  • The zero draft of the CSW67 Agreed Conclusion that will be negotiated and (hopefully) adopted as an outcome of CSW67 on the 17th March with a set of key recommendations for implementation by UN member states.
  • The CSOs Position Statement – with key recommendations by African young people, civil and women’s rights activists, advocates, feminists and leaders.
  • CSW67 – Side Events (hosted by governments, permanent missions and INGOs within the UN building and some virtually) – for networking, holding to account, influencing, contributing, knowledge sharing….and more!
  • CSW67 Parallel Events (over 800 events and conversations led by young people-led, civil society and women’s rights organizations, tech and feminist movements hosted by NGO CSW NY. You will need to download Whova to view and register for the virtual events) – – for connecting, solidarity, networking, holding to account, influencing, contributing, knowledge sharing….and more!
  • CSW67 Official meetings – including the opening session on the 6th March @ 10am (EST).
