Nyawira is a driving force behind Meaningful Engagement, Transformative Action (META) for structured CSO dialogue to demand accountability, good governance, and inclusive development. Her efforts also bolster CSOs active participation in the EU-Kenya cooperation and the implementation of the Global Gateway.

Prior to taking on her current role, Nyawira was instrumental in launching and setting up FEMNET’s significant work with teenage girls and young women at the regional and global platforms, ensuring their visibility and voices were heard.

She holds a B.A in Social Communication  and M.A in Development Studies.

Beyond her professional responsibilities, Nyawira finds inspiration in nature, engaging on thrilling road trips. She exemplifies a rare balance, as a passionate gender justice advocate who prioritises well-being while fighting to create a just world in which all girls and women, in their diversity thrive in dignity.
