Kaprece has served her community volunteering and working in the non-profit sector for over 30 years. She started two nongovernmental organizations in Liberia, West Africa and has assisted many other non-profits with building their programs nationally and internationally. As President & CEO, Mrs. James is the Founder of Stella’s Girls Incorporated, a 501c3 non-profit and recognized Liberian nongovernmental organization. She currently serves as 2nd Vice President of the Tri-County MD Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated; International Trends and Services Chair for Southern Maryland Chain Chapter of The Links Incorporated; Youth Advisor for the Charles County NAACP Youth Council; Vice President of the Board Directors for the Neighbourhood Creative Arts Centre; and Advisor to the Charles County Youth Collaborative.
